My journey with Usborne started in 2003, shortly after the birth of my second child. My maternity leave was running out and
I really wanted to find a way to stay home with my children. But I still needed to contribute to our family finances. Now,
I am able to work from home with my 3 active little boys. I get to be there for all the little moments I felt I was missing
while working late hours and various shifts.
I love my life! And I love my job selling Usborne Books at Home, from my home! I work my business around the events
of my family and I even get out occasionally in the evenings for ladies night out. I love being at home with my little ones,
but I really enjoy meeting new people and having adult conversations sometimes!
I've had the opportunity to travel and also learn new skills that I might never have had in my old job. I sell books
through home demonstrations, community events, exhibitions, and to schools. My favourite part of this business is helping
other people build their own home business with Usborne as well. I never realized how fulfilling and rewarding it would be
to see and contribute to others reaching their own personal dreams! Usborne has given me all the training and support to
reach my goals and I'm am very grateful for that!
My children enjoy all the books in our home library and I take pride in the fact that my oldest son reads well above his
grade level. He once confessed that he is addicted to reading. I am such a fortunate mom! Success stories of reluctant readers
overcoming their fear of reading always makes my day too.
